It was Mrs Fields who inspired me to bake cookies back in 1997 when I married my American husband.  However, I had never heard the word 'vegan' back then. Not only have 'cookies' USA-style stormed our British borders but vegan cookies are making an appearance in most bakeries. Give them a try.....just as delicious!
