Fruitcake is one of my favourite cakes! However, when I met my American husband, I soon learned that fruitcake in the USA is dry and looks like a brick! (No offense to my American family and friends but I think they'll agree)!  I set out to prove that our British fruitcake can be moist and delicious! This Sticky Fruitcake does NOT contain eggs nor added sugar but is packed with dried fruits and warm spices.
