It has been interesting to watch the Brits over the years, become obsessed with peanut butter! The first time I tried it was over 40 years ago, during a trip to California. I remember having a peanut butter sandwich (without grape jelly) which was wrapped in a brown paper bag. I struggled to swallow each mouthful and washed it down with Rootbeer. We've come a long way since then and peanut butter is readily available and has become a favourite in desserts. These Brookies are gorgeous and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Rich, dense and moreish. Made with The Gooey Chocolate Brownie and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie baked on top.
